Garlic (Allium sativum)
Some believe that garlic can repel flies, worms if
fed to miniature horses. However, feeding large
amounts of garlic to horses may have dangers
as it can cause anemia.

Toxic to Horses in large amounts

Toxic parts and chemical: N-propyl disulfide

Symptoms of Poisoning: anemia due to the
breakdown of red blood cells. Horse will have
vomiting, weakness, rapid breathing and heart
rate, blood in urine.
