Apricot (Prunus armeniaca)
Poisonous to Miniature Horses as well as
Cats and Dogs

Toxic chemical: Cyanogenic glycosides are
present in some species of apricot

The seeds, stems and leaves contain
cyanide (increased if wilted).

Symptoms of Poisoning: mucous membranes
turn a brick red color, pupils dialate, difficulty
breathing, with panting and leading to shock.
